2Tim.2.15 - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
In April 2022, the Lord gave me an instruction through a dream in the night. In that dream after a Sunday service, on my way home i met three elders coming from a church, after salutations one of them requested to see my sermon notes and after perusing over my notes. He said to me "study deeper for the everlasting Kingdom" - -Says the Lord, and they departed i then woke up and began to ponder on the meaning of that dream.
The Spirit of the Lord revealed to me that the three elders represent the trinity (God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit), that they came to check my commitment and performance as a pastor, although they were impressed with my studies so far, they instructed me to study deeper for the everlasting kingdom. What a word! What an instruction!
This is why i keep telling Christians to always go to church meetings with their Bible and study notebook, and take notes during sermons in church services and during their personal study and quiet time.If they really want to grow.
It's very important as i learned from that very encounter that the Lord is interested in our Bible study notes and spiritual growth.
Friends, it's high time we dig deeper into God's word to explore the riches, mysteries and glories of this everlasting Kingdom.
There is a saying that if you want to hide something from Africans you should hide it in a book, and they will never find it. As disciples of Christ we should be different.
The good book contains all the treasures, the mysteries and the glories of God, but you need to search it out. You need seek it to find it.
The problem is that youths of this generation are distracted by social media are becoming too lazy or buzy to read even the Christians.
We spend more time reading and watching news and comedies and gossips on social media and online platforms that will not build our spiritual lives and less or no quiet time studying/meditating on God’s word, therefore we cannot know or hear him intimately and are so shallow of the will and ways of God.
Social media is engaging and interesting, and its one of the tools the devil is leveraging to steal our precious time and life, and hindering our fellowship with our God if we don't use it wisely.
If you spend the time you spend on social media to read and study deeper on God's word your spiritual, mental and material capacity would've been far better - 3 Jn 2:2
And it's high time we change this narrative. It's high time we dive and dig deeper into God's word and in so doing we know him more, and walk with him closely and have an intimate relationship with him.
And we shall be transformed to the same image of our Lord Jesus Christ -Rom 8:29 and manifest His glory, and access the everlasting Kingdom life in Jesus Christ glorious name, Amen 🙏

I refuse to be distracted by the social media instead I shall use it to learn God's word and to spread the gospel of Christ.
I receive the grace and the wisdom to do so in Jesus Christ's glorious name, Amen 🙏
