John.3.3 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John.3.4 - Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
John.3.5 - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
The Truth
Today worldwide we celebrate the children. It's children's day, it's a day dedicated to celebrate children.
As Christian we are to reflect on this day also to remember that we are children of God. And we are also to accept gospel of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as children.
When you accept the gospel as a chid; you become a new creature, new born child of God. And shall be a friend of Jesus Christ as He loves and embraces children ❤️
Hence, as a new born child of God we need the sincere milk of the word of God to grow and mature in the Lord - 1 Pet 2:2
1Pet.2.2 - As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
As new creatures, and disciples of Christ we are transformed and are to put off old sinful nature and lifestyle and put on the new man which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness according to Eph. 4: 22 - 24
Eph.4.22 - That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Eph.4.23 - And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
Eph.4.24 - And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Here's the Thing
A disciple of Christ you must become as a child and believe and follow Him as one.
*Being Born again NOT doing or activities, but being. It's about who you become.
*Being is more important than doing
*Who you become is what enables you to do any work, before you can function as a medical doctor for instance you need to become one.
*You become what or who you believe - Eph 1:13-14, John 1:12
